Highbrow/Lowbrow

On Saturday 5/28 we all attended the BSO Lower Strings concert. Beautiful individual performances by Robert Barney playing double bass, Jonathan Carney on the violin, and especially Dariusz Skoraczewski, on the cello.

Later that day I took the girls to see Vin Diesel in The Pacifier.

Now I really feel the two sides of my brain are even.

Feels like summer

82 degrees today. We went to niece Arielle's H.S. graduation at National Shrine in D.C. then on to Annapolis for lunch. No sign of Dubya, but he was speaking at the Naval Academy graduation.

Countdown to Summer

Ahh. Hot town, summer in the city. But what of the suburbs? Those areas just beyond the beltway recently mentioned in Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day. It's hot here, too. And boring. This summer we are definitely going to do some worthwhile activities.
And tell about them here. Well, at least we'll be entertained.
